**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Manage freight loading and unloading, including the use of forklifts when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo details as per DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and maintain a clean driving record.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability on the road.
- Operate heavy equipment when required for loading or unloading freight.
**Requirements**:
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
- Proven 2 Years of experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of long-haul logistics.
- Forklift operation experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus, enabling quick fixes during transit.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Must pass background checks and adhere to drug screening policies.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as necessary for long-haul routes.
- **We are looking for a Team, or a solo driver ( You can bring your friend with you to be a team)**:
- **Must have US visa, as this job requires you to haul loads from and to United States.**
