**The Role & Opportunities for Learning**

All new members of the Bioinformatics Team begin their journey with a custom comprehensive training course that provides in-depth instruction on how to use Rapid Novor’s industrial leading software platform for antibody protein sequencing. Senior members of the team are made available during this time (and onwards) to guide new members and support them in sharpening their technical skills. Furthermore, our team members have opportunities to collaborate with and learn from colleagues from our wider interdisciplinary team.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct next generation protein sequencing from mass spectrometry data using Rapid Novor’s industrial leading software platform.
- Manage multiple sequencing projects simultaneously and collaborate with team members in an interdisciplinary setting to meet project deadlines.
- Design experiments in collaboration with laboratory technicians to troubleshoot projects.
- Other duties as may be assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Undergraduate or higher degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field. Computer programming skills are not a requirement for this position.
- Tackles problems efficiently with high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of mass spectrometry and proteomics workflows is an asset.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
- Willing to learn, be coached, and use acquired knowledge to communicate with team members from other disciplines.
- Enjoys solving puzzles.
