**Job Duties**:

- Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials, including foundations, walls, and roofs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and materials required.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials using hand and power tools.
- Build floor beams, subflooring, and walls and install drywall and insulation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and practices at all times.

**Skills and Employment Requirements**:

- **Education**: Completion of secondary school.
- **Experience**: A minimum of 1 year of experience in framing or rough carpentry.
- **Skills**:

- Proficient use of framing-related power tools.
- Ability to work in a f ast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and risk management.

**Certificates and Courses Required**:

- Working at heights training
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
- Confined Space Entry Training
