**HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?**

This role is responsible for supporting the Senior Manager, Trade Marketing in overall Canada trade marketing efforts, including to devise & implement creative & innovative trade marketing strategies and action plan to increase leisure and business arrivals to Hong Kong.

Below are the major responsibilities:

- Assist Senior Manager, Trade Marketing in formulating and implementing trade campaigns, and in managing and executing events.
- Project manage all trade campaigns including marcom materials and databases (e.g. newsletters/trade website/consumer website tour operators and product listing).
- Proactively identify effective trade opportunities by developing relationships with key potential trade partners for focused and targeted campaigns.
- Proactively develop HK inclusion in multi-destination itineraries with trade partners.
- Optimise support and educate travel trade through sales calls, educational programs and webinars.
- Provide timely and accurate reports and market intelligence/trends as required.
- Work closely with Marketing and Public Relations team to ensure integrated campaign deliverables are achieved.
- Work with Head Office and other Worldwide Office teams on campaigns as necessary.
- Produce post reports for trade campaigns, and other regular reports to Head Office.
- Ensure full internal policy compliance when executing campaigns, and assist in monitoring trade marketing budget and ensuring effective utilization in achieving objectives/KPIs.
- Represent HKTB at functions and project a positive image of Hong Kong and HKTB.
- Undertake any other duties/special assignments as directed by the Senior Manager, Trade Marketing or Director, Americas.

**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- University graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of marketing experience, gained from travel industry preferred.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to details and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Resourceful, proactive and people-oriented team player.
- Excellent and effective communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, in particular PowerPoint and Excel; Adobe Photoshop and basic design capabilities are an asset.
- Willingness to travel.

**LOCATION**
- This position is located in our Toronto Office.
- We do not offer moving allowances from other cities.
