**Nail Technician Job Description**

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide professional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
- Perform body waxing services as needed, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on nail care products.
- Upsell retail products and services to enhance the client experience and promote additional sales.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere by delivering outstanding customer service at all times.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in nail care to provide innovative services.

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in nail care techniques, including manicures, pedicures, and nail art.
- Experience with body waxing is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Retail sales experience is advantageous for upselling products.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week

- St. Thomas, ON N5R 4M5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
