Cake Maker

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Maker / Decorator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and decorating cakes for various occasions, ensuring that each creation meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You will play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction through your artistic skills and attention to detail. You will also be responsible for making cakes, following proper procedures.

**Duties**
- Decorate cakes according to customer specifications and company standards, utilizing various techniques and styles.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their vision for custom cake designs, providing suggestions and expertise as needed.
- Prepare and handle food items in compliance with food safety regulations, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Package finished products for delivery or display, ensuring they are presented attractively.
- Maintain inventory of decorating supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

**Skills**
- Strong cake decorating skills preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
- Experience in food preparation and handling within a restaurant or kitchen environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Creativity and artistic flair in designing unique cake decorations.
- Familiarity with baking techniques and processes is a plus.
- Reliability a must.

Pay: From $16.55 per hour
