**Job duties & responsibilities will include, but not limited to**:
**Finance Responsibilities**:
- Enter orders into SAP using various methods.
- Convert sales orders to Delivery mode, adding shipping details for future reference.
- Convert deliveries to invoices using EDI for multiple platforms.
- Enter new purchase orders for stock replenishment or product initiation.
- Follow up on goods receipts, process receipts in multiple warehouses, and review open purchase orders.
- Process payables invoicing for received goods
- Ensure accurate processing of credits affecting inventory for customers and vendors.
- Process production orders for accurate inventory levels across warehouses.
- Review negative inventory, provide minimum stock levels, and generate inventory transfers
- Manage EDI transmissions for specific partners, including order retrieval and invoice transmissions.
- Review and follow up on Menards disputes.
- Follow up with customers on overdue invoices.
- Set up new customer and/or vendor accounts and inventory item codes.
- File all document types.
**Freight Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate shipments for timely pick-up and delivery.
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to optimize transportation processes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations for each shipment.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams for updates on shipment status.
- Resolve transportation-related issues promptly and collaborate on logistics challenges.
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers to optimize costs.
- Monitor transportation expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Utilize tracking systems for real-time updates on goods movement.
- Generate reports on transportation metrics, including on-time delivery and costs.
- Handling on line routing requirements
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to transportation.
- Strive to meet or exceed customer expectations for delivery times and service quality.
**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:
- Previous experience in freight coordination, logistics, transportation management systems or related role, is often preferred.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Detailed oriented with excellent time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills
