The location has Cafe TO Patio permit, and we are set to carve an exclusive American - Italian experience for our guests to enjoy the patio season. Food: Midwestern tavern-style thin-crust, and interesting takes on Americana/Italian Wide range of salads, apps Nd main course. We so our own butchery of chicken, inhouse sausage making and desserts are produces inhouse. Its a small team and everyoje does everything because our menu is intense and everything is made in house as we prefer quality. Drink: seasonal cocktails, extensive natural/skin-contact wine list, 8 draft taps for local, craft breweries. We can't wait to hear from you **The Kitchen stations are**: **Pizza making** **Cold dishes such as salads and cold appetizers** **Creative Bar style dishes** **Variety of seafood plates** **Creative Meat dish platters** we stand by sourcing ingredients and supplies as local as possible, they are sourced with care and no compromises on the quality of it. Our major circle of focus is taste, but we put a great impact on presentation, cleanliness of kitchen & hygiene. It is going to be a small team, tight and fun We want you to enjoy the work just as much we want to enjoy working with you. **Daily job duties include, but not limited to**: - Setting up the kitchen for the day - Accepting and organizing orders from food purveyors - Preparing/cooking ingredients for menu items Executing flawless plating of each dish originating from your designated station - Helping out others as needed - Cleaning as you go - Write a preparation list for the next day - Advise the Chef what ingredients need to be ordered for the next day - Cleaning, polishing, and closing the kitchen **Requirements**: - Minimum of 2 years in a casual dining Restaurant - Extremely clean and tidy workflow - it is an open concept kitchen. - Attention to detail - Have a positive and professional work ethic, passion for perfection, and willingness to learn and ask questions - Food and presentation creativity are highly encouraged - Able to thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment for long periods of time - Able to quickly adapt to changes in menu items on a daily basis - Accommodate guests’ specific modifications in regards to preference and allergies - Great knife skills is an asset - Culinary Degree and food Handlers Certificate are an asset - Grooming is an important aspect as Kitchen Brigade needs to look sharp and approachable by guests. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Discounted or free food Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Evening shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Toronto, ON M5T 2E2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Secondary School (preferred) **Experience**: - Line Cook: 2 years (required) - Cooking: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: - Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required) Work Location: One location
