Quality Assurance Testing Specialist

Requisition ID: 153717 Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. **The Team** **The Role**: This position will help to ensure to perform functional and non-functional testing of ETL/ELT jobs for data and analytics platforms, including but not limited to Hadoop, Azure, SQL server, DB2, Oracle, NoSQL Guided by Bank policy, receives direct supervision from the Senior Manager. Within a well-defined task, the QA Specialist is expected to function independently while ensuring that management is kept informed, and that problems and issues are escalated appropriately. **Is this role right for you?** - Your passion for Software/Data Quality and ETL testing - Exposure to Big Data, Enterprise Data Lake, Hadoop is an asset - Expert knowledge of SQL queries, ETL, Back-End testing - Work with Technology Partners, Source Teams, Developers, Business Analysts to understand mapping and resolve complex data logic - Work with QAT Leads across value streams within QAT to understand test data requirements and facilitate test data preparation - You are diligent with documenting test artifacts such as, test plans, test cases, test results and defect reports - You are proactive and part of a dynamic team in an Agile environment - You work with your scrum team to design and develop test strategies, testability requirements and implementation strategies - You will contribute to test automation tools and infrastructure by creating and augmenting test cases and test libraries - You are comfortable working in a self-guided manner with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your own time efficiently, without direct input or oversight - You work as part of a team and encourage both individual and collaborative innovation - You’re a fast learner who has an appetite for learning what’s behind both simple and complex solutions - You have a positive and resilient personality.
