Edmonton, Canada Fantasyland Hotel Full time

The Operations Administrative Assistant will provide effective and efficient administrative support to the various food service outlets, kitchens, banquets, and food and beverage operations of Fantasyland Hotel.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Preparing and coordinating various administrative service documentations and correspondence for the room division and food and beverage division including spreadsheet maintenance, data entry, and general letter and memo preparation.
- Working on various administrative special projects, reports, and department policy and procedures administration.
- Collaborating with Room Division and Food & Beverage with inputting and revisions to menus and promotional materials.
- Assisting with department payroll administrative functions, gratuity distribution, documentations, health & safety procedures, required follow up and acting as a point of contact for department administrative matters.
- Completing office administrative duties such as, including digital filing, printing banquet event orders and managing office invoices.
- Handling outlet inquiries and reservations, replying to guest review.
- Other responsibilities as required.

Desired Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar hospitality environment in an administrative based role.
- Post secondary diploma in hotel management or related field is an asset.
- Previous experience working in the hospitality industry preferably in a Supervisory or administrative based role is an asset for the role.
- A professional attitude and demeanor complemented by excellent customer relations skills and the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships.
- Strong organizational and proven time-management skills in the workplace.
- Excellent typing and computer skills including a strong working knowledge of MS office programs word, excel, and outlook as well as the ability to adapt to hospitality software programs if required.

Terms of Employment:

- This is a full-time position that is required Monday through Friday.
- This is a salaried position that will depend on experience and qualifications.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
