**Summary**:
Our Nutritional and Functional group is currently looking for a dynamic and motivated professional to fill the role of Inside Sales Representative for our Savoury segment division in the region of Quebec that will be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager for Eastern Canada. This position contributes to Quadra’s success by achieving sales targets as well as developing emerging accounts through sales and marketing initiatives. The Inside Sales Representative will also provide account management support for a portfolio of existing accounts through excellent customer service and identifying sales growth opportunities. The Inside Sales Representative, we are seeking, will be a key element in improving the sales effectiveness of our external sales team by redirecting attention and overall management of emerging accounts to internal sales.

**Your responsibilities include**:

- Acquire a good working knowledge of our portfolio offering for which the group sells, as well as Quadra services and to keep this knowledge current
- Identify and fully qualify potential new accounts and evaluate sales potential for Quadra products within the assigned territory
- Build credibility for the company and always generate customer trust through professional conduct
- Conduct business in an organized and time efficient manner and allow maximum time for prospect contact and sales opportunities
- Maintain fully detailed records of prospects and customer contacts
- Prepare and submit sales forecasts
- Complete and submit to the Sales Manager, an updated Territory Plan Report including achievement of the previous quarter
- Report any changes in business trends, customer complaints and defections, competitor’s activity, and any expressions of customer satisfaction
- Participate in training to enhance sales productivity
- Attend sales meetings as directed by the Business Manager and/or Sales Manager
- Always develop and maintain a minimum of 5 key development accounts
- Plan pre-call agendas on important accounts in the territory with the Sales Manager
- Keep abreast of competitor product knowledge
- Maintain a record of sample submissions with customer test results and resulting action
- Maintain monthly contact with assigned top accounts

The qualifications and skills needed to succeed are the following:

- Have a post-secondary diploma or college diploma and/or bachelor’s degree in science or Chemistry
- Proven experience in Food, Pharma and cosmetics is an asset
- Dealing directly with external customers would be an asset
- Detail oriented, multi-functional with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Oral and written bilingualism (French / English) mandatory
- Have acquired strong computer skills (ideally with a CRM like Salesforce and be able to work effectively with the Office 365 suite)
- Ability and determination to seek out and pursue new business opportunities and make cold calls and prospect over the phone
- Self-starter, independent, entrepreneurial and the ability to work independently and handle pressure as well as in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and skills
- Ability to motivate oneself, demonstrate autonomy, learn new technologies and adapt to new situations
