**A DAY IN THE LIFE**

You bring a strong ability to remain level-headed while managing multiple competing priorities. Your calm, thoughtful demeanour enables you to maintain positive relationships with existing clients, always ensuring their satisfaction. You're not afraid to hop on the phone or make an in-person visit to prospective clients to identify new opportunities. A typical day in the life will include:

- Managing existing customer accounts, including processing orders, providing quotations, and proactively managing inventory levels. Ensuring the accuracy and profitability of each order while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Reviewing communication and responding to inquiries promptly, providing accurate and helpful information to the customer.
- Maintaining and fostering professional relationships with existing clients, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and pricing to provide the best possible service to customers.

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**
- 1+ year of progressive B2B sales experience with a proven track record of success in a high volume/transactional sales environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to tactfully address issues and provide effective, long-term solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously and prospect new leads. You know how to strategically listen for opportunities with clients and grow relationships.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong aptitude for organization - you catch the small stuff
- Strong active listening skills combined with a willingness to learn through research, observation, and absorbing knowledge from your seasoned team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

**BONUS POINTS IF YOU**:

- Have post-secondary education in a related field, such as Business, Commerce, or Engineering (preferred), or relevant hands-on work experience in the Steel industry.
- Familiarity or working knowledge of AutoCAD.
