**Responsibilities**:
We deliver unparalleled service excellence to our customers, and our Operations Supervisors are the first line of leadership in delivering that excellence.
- Assists the team in booking loads, dispatching, routing, and tracking of transportation vehicles.
- Communicate with drivers (both Company and Owner Operators) daily regarding issues, schedules, dispatch instructions, etc.
- Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize the schedules.
- Build strong relationships with customers & carriers and the company’s 3PL group.
- Communicate service issues as required and develop solutions.
- Assist with sort center activities across a shift and support coordination of staff plans and operating schedules.
- Support developing and implementing process quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Encourage and strengthen our strong culture of health and safety best practices.
- Collaborating with partner supervisor and other leaders on the floor. Addressing all safety infractions and escalating where necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred
- 1-3 years operations experience in a lead/supervisor/management role, required
- 1-2 years logistics industry experience preferred
- Ability to lift up-to 50lbs.
- Staff management, workload planning, objective setting and organizational skills, required
- Excellent communication skills, required
- Ability to multitask and assist production team when required.
- Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Outlook is an asset.
- Familiarity with multiple web browsers, windows navigation and instant messenger tools.

**Salary**: $43,989.26-$67,103.30 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
