**Overview**:

- The Janitor is responsible for keeping Castle Mountain Resort’s buildings in clean and orderly condition, taking care of the resort’s general cleanliness and to provide tidy and sanitary amenities for guests and residents. Their duties include cleaning floors, cleaning bathrooms, washing walls, windows, and doors, and removing garbage. Ski and ride breaks are a regular part of the work week, and you ski or ride for free on your days off

- Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, and polishing- Ensuring all resort facilities are cared for and inspected according to standards- Notifying managers/supervisors of any damages, deficits, and/or disturbances- Adhering strictly to rules regarding health and safety, and being aware of and following all company-related practices- Perform daily cleaning duties; Vacuum, clean, dust all areas of the Castle Mountain facilities, complete cleaning of all lavatories and emptying garbages.- Fill all paper towels, toiletry dispensers and refilling soap dispensers.- Proper labelling, dilution, and use of chemicals- Promote and maintain a safe work environment including use of proper PPE.**Qualifications**:

- Ability to work within a team environment- Previous housekeeping and/or janitorial experience is an asset but not necessary (we can train)- Attention to detail and cleanliness- Good communication skills- Ability to accept direction- Ability to work with mínimal supervision- Strong time management capabilities- Passion for the ski industry- Available weekends, evenings, and holidays- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHIMIS) certification is an asset and may be required**Where We Are**:

- Castle Mountain Resort is located at the end of Highway 774, near Pincher Creek, AB. This is a remote work location. There is a communal living Staff Accommodation building on-site for new and returning non-supervisory, seasonal employees. **Work Conditions**:

- Physical mobility and stamina to perform cleaning duties all day.- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.- Walking and standing for extended periods.- Manual dexterity required.- Weekend, Evening and Overtime as required**Eligibility Statement**:
