**Job Title: Dental Assistant - Advanced Implant Dentistry**

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Assist Chairside**: Provide chairside assistance during implant surgeries and procedures, including implant placement, bone grafting, and sinus lifts.
- **Instrument Sterilization**: Ensure all instruments are properly sterilized and prepared for each procedure following strict infection control protocols.
- **Patient Care**: Assist in patient care and comfort, including explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing post-operative instructions.
- **X-Ray Imaging**: Capture and process dental x-rays, including panoramic and cone beam CT scans, to assist in treatment planning and evaluation.
- **Implant Maintenance**: Assist in the maintenance of implant inventory and equipment, including ordering supplies and organizing implant components.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and consent forms.
- **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- **Certification**: Completion of an accredited dental assisting program is desirable
- **Experience**: Previous experience in implant dentistry or oral surgery is highly desirable.
- **X-Ray Certification**: Certification in dental radiography and proficiency in capturing and processing dental x-rays.
- **Knowledge**: Understanding of implant dentistry procedures, materials, and equipment is desirable.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- **Detail-Oriented**: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
