Position**:Chief Estimating Officer**

Are you ready to propel your professional career to new heights? Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd. (Van Pile) is seeking a Chief Estimating Officer to join our dynamic and growing team. As one of the largest marine general contractors in Canada, we boast a rich history of constructing major marine facilities along the British Columbia coastline and inland waters since 1913.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and organize estimating teams to assess plans, specifications, and requirements for bidding purposes.
- Prepare comprehensive bids, select appropriate vendors and subcontractors, and evaluate cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor client addendums and provide guidance on changes during the estimating phase.
- Review design alternatives, suggesting optimal solutions based on cost, engineering quality, and material availability.
- Bring a minimum of 15 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a proven track record of successfully bidding and securing large-scale projects.
- Previous experience in marine construction (e.g., piers, bridges, docks, berths, dredging) is highly desirable.
- Hold a B.Sc in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
