**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean, organized workspace will contribute to the overall success of our café.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for processing transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods while managing time effectively.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge on gluten free foods is a plus.
- Familiarity with cashiering and operating POS systems is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Requirements**:

- Must have accommodations in Muskoka, they are not provided.
- Food Handling Certificate

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3-5 months

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
