Part Time Lead Facilitator Outreach Program

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support with the development and delivery of engaging physical activity, nutrition and health & wellness based programming for children in grades 1- 8, in high priority neighbourhoods across the City of Hamilton.
- Reporting to supervisor, with the ability to work independently and foster a team approach.
- Demonstrate use of positive behaviour guidance, support staff with behaviour guidance technique, best practices and on the spot mentorship and feedback. Plans and helps implement reward systems to enforce positive reinforcement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to take initiative in a rapidly-shifting Programming environment;
- Keyholder responsibilities and support program delivery and would ensure that programming reflects BGC's intended outcomes.

- Has a diploma/degree or is currently enrolled in a post-secondary program studying child and youth care, recreation or leisure services, social work, psychology, sociology, kinesiology with a focus/experience working with children ages 6-12 years.
- High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development is an asset
- Safe Food Handling certificate
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Valid First Aid/ CPR Level C ( Red Cross preferred)
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $20.80 per hour
