**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support with the development and delivery of engaging programming reflective of BGCs mission, vision, values and programming outcomes for children in grades 1- 8, in high priority neighbourhoods across the City of Hamilton.
- Reporting to the program supervisor, with the ability to work independently and foster a team approach.
- Demonstrate use of positive behaviour guidance, support staff with behaviour guidance techniques, best practices and on the spot mentorship and feedback.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to take initiative in a rapidly-shifting program environment

- Has a diploma/degree or is currently enrolled in a post-secondary program with a focus on, and/or experience working with children ages 6-12 years
- Safe Food Handlers
- High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development is an asset
- A clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Valid First Aid/CPR-Level C (Red Cross preferred)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.80 per hour
