**Job Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
**Financial Analysis for RFPs**: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support the preparation of RFPs, including cost modeling, pricing strategies, and budget forecasts. Ensure that all financial aspects of proposals are accurate, competitive, and align with company profitability goals.
**Cost Estimation**: Develop detailed cost estimates for RFPs, including labor, materials, overhead, and other expenses. Analyze historical data and market trends to provide accurate and competitive cost projections.
**Pricing Strategy**: Work with operations, and executive teams to develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive. Evaluate different pricing scenarios and assess their impact on the company's financial performance.
**Budgeting and Forecasting**: Prepare budgets for potential projects and provide financial forecasts based on proposed project parameters. Assess risks and uncertainties, providing insights on how they may impact the financial outcome of RFPs.
**Financial Modeling**: Create and maintain complex financial models to evaluate various cost structures and pricing options for RFPs. Use these models to support decision-making and provide recommendations to senior management.
**RFP Documentation**: Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to ensure that all financial components of RFP submissions are documented clearly and meet the requirements specified by clients. This includes preparing cost breakdowns, justifications, and supporting documents.
**Risk Assessment**: Identify potential financial risks associated with RFPs, including underestimating costs, market fluctuations, and contract terms. Provide recommendations to mitigate these risks and protect the company’s financial interests.
**Compliance**: Ensure all RFP financial submissions comply with internal policies, client requirements, and industry standards. Monitor changes in regulations and industry practices to maintain compliance in all financial proposals.
**Post-Submission Review**: After submission, participate in the review of RFP results to analyze financial performance, identify gaps, and provide insights for future RFPs. Gather feedback to continuously improve the accuracy and competitiveness of financial proposals.
**Financial Reporting Support**: Provide support in financial reporting tasks including monthly financial closings including but not limited to bank reconciliation, accounts receivable reconciliation, accounts payable reconciliation and accruals reconciliation.
**Qualifications**
**Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or CFA/CPA certification is a plus.
**Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, budgeting, accounting and/or a similar role. Experience with RFPs, proposals, or project-based financial modeling is highly preferred.
**Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, financial modeling) and experience with financial software. Familiarity with RFP processes and documentation tools is an asset.
**Analytical Skills**: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with an ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
**Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
**Detail-Oriented**: High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all financial documentation and analysis.
**Problem-Solving**: Ability to identify potential financial risks, propose solutions, and adapt to changing business needs.
**Organizational Skills**: Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple RFPs simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
Pay: $70,000.00 per year
