Our drive for continuous improvement mandates the addition of a **Shipping/Receiving Manager.**

Reporting to VP Operations and as part of the Operations team, the **Shipping/Receiving Manager** oversees the incoming delivery and storage of raw materials, the flow of finished goods in the warehouse, and the delivery of Sympli product to our North American DTC and retail customers.

As **Shipping/Receiving Manager,** you have an affinity for a fast-paced work environment where you can fully utilize your honed organizational and planning skills and ability to lead and motivate your team to be a shipping tour de force. Delivering product expediently and efficiently keeps our Sympli customers happy making you a Shipping Ops star.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Efficiently and effectively oversee the final stage of our apparel supply chain to meet shipping deadlines.
- Plan and manage shipping resources while monitoring and maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate and ensure the proper receipt and storage of raw materials.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure a safe and orderly work environment while adhering to workplace safety protocol
- Plan for and monitor deadlines, communicate, and alert internal stakeholders to potential delays or issues
- Schedule staff and manage warehouse resources as required
- Manage and control finished goods inventory, oversee cycle counts
- Oversee the efficient organization of finished goods inventory
- Track and report key metrics such as staff efficiency, on-time delivery, etc
- Coordinate shipping and brokerage with vendors and brokers
- Effectively communicate with delivery and transport companies
- Handle and resolve supply chain issues, bottlenecks and other delays
- Handle and resolve warehouse staff related issues or concerns as necessary
- Drive protocol to ensure team’s shipping and billing documents are completed accurate

**Requirements**:

- Detailed oriented
- Able to make objective and data driven business decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be fluent in English, spoken and written
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong numerical aptitude
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to learn new concepts quickly
- Intermediate level with MS Word and Excel
- A minimum of two years’ experience in Shipping
- Strong, but positive leadership style

**Working Environment**:

- Warehouse environment

**Physical Requirements**:

- May require standing and moving for long periods of time.
- Lifting of up to 50 lbs. is required
