Thrive Creations is a high-end landscaping company based in Pelham, ON. We perform both construction and maintenance services in the Niagara Region. Our focus is on quality and great customer service. We also focus on creating a work environment where our employees enjoy coming to work.

We are currently seeking a construction labourer with a great work ethic and a character that fits Thrive Creations' company culture. Previous experience is preferred but Thrive Creations takes pride in investing in its employees and growing individuals who desire to learn. Horticulture schooling during January and February is strongly encouraged for those without their horticulture license and we will work with an individual who desires to grow their knowledge in this way. Thrive Creations loves to promote from within so labourers will be encouraged to grow inside of the company and work their way up. This is a full-time position without snow clearing in the winter We keep our employees busy during the winter if they are not enrolled in school with equipment maintenance, shop organization and small jobs as weather permits. Projects will include interlock patios, composite decks, masonry, etc and a construction labourer will be exposed to a variety of work and learning opportunities.

**Summary**: A construction labourer would be responsible for working under a crew foreperson on construction jobs.

**Typical Hours**: 7 AM - 5:30 PM with some flexibility during busier or slower times; weekdays only

**Compensation**:$18 to $23/hr, depending on experience and with a lot of potential to increase

**Job Duties**:

- Reporting to the foreperson and performing such duties as determined by the job
- After on-site training, operating equipment such as compact utility loaders, skid steers, and/or mini excavators
- Using hand and power tools with the required safety gear
- Following all company policies and guidelines

**Required**:

- Must provide own transportation to the shop located in Pelham
- Lifting loads of 50 lbs or more may be needed and is a requirement for the job
