**Administrative Assistant (Hardgoods)**

A day in the life of an **Administrative Assistant (Hardgoods) **offers countless ways to showcase your administrative, logístical, and multi-tasking skills -all while collaborating with teammates across the globe to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

As your morning coffee brews, you share a light-hearted laugh with a teammate before sitting down at your workstation. You scan your inbox and Slack channels for anything time-sensitive and notice a customer in Florida urgently needs some plant care tags for a Mother’s Day promotion on their flowers. You act quickly to connect the customer with our sales team and European partners to begin designing their tags. You log the sales lead in our system and begin arranging a FedEx delivery to meet their deadline.

In anticipation of updating customers on the whereabouts of their shipments, you have a quick virtual huddle with our logistics partners and notice a container has been held up for inspection en route to Canada. You proactively let the customers know this will cause a minor delay in delivery and update our logistics team.

It is a beautiful day in the Valley, so you enjoy your lunch by the Fraser River, walking along the picturesque dyke trail and chatting with a co-worker.

You return to your desk, invigorated and ready to make the most of your afternoon. You spend the remainder of your workday inputting purchase orders into Qualitree’s cloud-based system, creating shipments, and building loads to ensure customers receive their products on time. A huddle with your Business and Technical Manager helps set the game plan for tomorrow and brainstorm new ways to improve our customers’ experience.
