**Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff and clients. Your contributions will directly support our mission of providing exceptional service.

This will be an independent contractor position, working days can vary from Monday to Thursday and occasional weekends. Hours of work include but are not limited to regular business hours from 9:00 - 5:00 PM with some evening work as well. This position may lead to a part-time or full-time position.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility, ensuring a safe environment for all.
- Provide an exceptional service in customers’ homes, performing different cleaning activities/Basic cleaning skills (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, sanitizing - attention to detail)
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient at cleaning jobs
- Enjoy working as a team
- Able to lift 35 lbs
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Preparing and loading cleaning products and equipment into your vehicle.
- Moving reasonably light furniture in rooms to clean under and behind.
- Clean kitchens and bathrooms thoroughly
- Change bed linens and do laundry as requested
- Maintain cleaning checklists and follow client-specific instructions
- Notify supervisor of any safety or maintenance concerns
- Travel to and from client homes as assigned
- Treat clients and their homes with respect, care, and professionalism
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on customer service
- Ability to clean efficiently and with attention to detail

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred - 1 year.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and management.
- 3 references
- Valid G driver’s license, and own a vehicle
- Clear Criminal Background
- Clean driving record
- 20 years or older
- High school diploma (any country or region
- Flexible, high energy, positive, trustworthy, and attention to detail
- Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew, and cleaning solutions.

**Job Types**: Casual, Freelance, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12-24 months

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
