We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our **People & Culture Team** as a **Business Partner**. This is a **Full Time, regular position **for our Head Office in Abbotsford**. (Maternity Leave Coverage for approximately 18-20 months)**
Reporting to the Senior Manager, People & Culture, the BP - People & Culture is a key supporter of P&C Services provided to the staff and management of Fraserway RV, including but not limited to employee relations, talent acquisition, health/safety/wellness, and HR projects. In this role, you will create and nurture influential partnerships with location managers to ensure the success of their departmental people related plans and approaches. Your drive and ability to thoroughly understand your clients’ business objectives will be essential as you execute people-centric programs in line with our corporate culture initiatives and overall people strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**_Recruitment/Talent Acquisitions: _**
- Contributes to organizational design, operational workforce planning and change management processes to ensure that Fraserway RV is appropriately structured and staffed to meet business needs. Partners with management to provide direction, assistance and consistency to the recruitment and selection process.
- Ensures that the manager has created/reviewed and obtained official approval from Human Resources on the job description and classification level for vacant positions.
- Guides managers in submitting requisitions, completes the initial review of a requisition and addresses any issues with the manager (or other stakeholders) prior to advancing for approval.
- Works in partnership with the manager to create a job posting and identify potential sources of talent.
- Provides managers with advice and guidance regarding proper processes in the selection process.
- Works with Payroll & Benefits for employment offers and/or addendums using established templates.
- Receives, files, and tracks all recruitment-related paperwork from managers.
- Updates HRIS as required.
- Ensures requirements for IT equipment, learning management system (LMS), building keys and security codes, and access to other internal systems/resources are relayed to the appropriate departments.
- Responds to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders related to recruitment and selection in a timely way.
**Employee Relations**:
- Provides advice, guidance, and coaching to managers on employee relations issues, including but not limited to: terms and conditions for employment, performance management, investigations/complaints, policy interpretation and conflict resolution.
- Provides practical, business-oriented HR advice and services in support of the Fraserway RV’s mission and strategic plan.
- Assists managers in the preparation of letters of expectations, training plans, and corrective action as required to help resolve issues, increase effectiveness, build relationships and achieve goals.
- Coaches managers in matters related to Human Rights and the duty to accommodate; where the duty to accommodate is for a medical reason, liaises with the Health & Safety Manager on any matters that intersect with employee relations work including where there may be related performance considerations.
- Partners with management, employees and external benefits providers to ensure case files are appropriately managed; coordinates the return to work process with all parties.
- Fosters a positive and engaging work environment through consistent administration of company policies; coaches and guides management by advising in relevant legislation and regulations and employment standards.
- Conducts thorough investigations in response to complaints or grievances. Leads and/or guides the performance management and disciplinary processes.
