**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Layout pipe and rolled plate cuts, including branch connections
- Cut using plasma torch and related equipment
- Fit-up of pipe, flanges, rolled plate and similar materials
- Tacking of fit assemblies, or working with welders to complete tacking
- Trial fit of completed assemblies
- Operating and maintaining power tools, machinery and equipment
- To support other departments as and when required
- Additional responsibilities to support general fabrication, as assigned by supervisors
- Ability to work swing shift (rotating day / night shifts) or optional permanent nights

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery and tools effectively.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Familiarity with ductwork installation techniques is preferred.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fitting tasks.
- Experience with machining processes is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work environments.
- **Journeyperson tickets, preferably as pipefitter**:

- **Valid drivers licence**

Pay: $23.97-$49.02 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
