**What you can expect to do here**:
- Perform various construction administration tasks for Transportation Engineering projects;
- Duties include construction layout, quantity pickup and calculations, processing surveys via computer software;
- Mentor junior staff;
- Manage multiple projects and work independently with mínimal supervision;
- Technical analysis and design;
- Report preparation; cost estimating;
- Conceptual preliminary and detailed design drawings;
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff; and Other duties as assigned.
**What you’ll bring to WSP**:
- Graduate from a Technology program, Municipal discipline preferred. Equivalent related experience will be considered;
- 5+ years of experience in urban and rural transportation projects (e.g. roads/highways interchanges, transit, cyclist ,etc);
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specs;
- Competence in Microsoft platforms including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project;
- Experience with Civil 3D and AutoCAD is an asset;
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal, including teamwork and interpersonal abilities;
- Comfortable in working independently in both an office and field environment; and
- Possess a strong work ethic, good communication skills, willingness to learn, and a team-player attitude;
- Must be willing to work overtime/weekends;
- Valid Manitoba driver’s license.
