The Data team at Zoominfo is looking for a Principal Data Analyst who will focus on identifying new data vendors, building relationships with new and existing vendors, as well as manage vendors through the data procurement process and renewals. The analyst will also present information about data vendors with Zoominfo leadership, as well as participate in overall data strategy discussions. This role will be both internal and external facing.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Foster relationships with new and existing data vendors.
- Seek out new data vendors to bring valuable new data sources to achieve Zoominfo's strategic goals.
- Work with the data team to ensure a smooth data procurement process.
- Provide insights to Zoominfo leadership about data vendors, new data sources, trends in the industry, and overall data strategy.
- Define, track, and communicate metrics to help understand how intent initiatives are meeting company objectives
- Lead analytics projects to help improve the coverage & accuracy of our intent data
- Research and identify potential new intent data improvements
- Own ongoing improvements to Zoominfo's intent taxonomy in coordination with our custom topic team
- Work with the Product Manager and Development team to create and groom tickets
- Use data to drive business decisions within the organization.

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience working directly with customers in an external-facing role
- 10+ years of experience working with data
- Experience using SQL
- Experience with Python or other coding languages
- Experience with owning vendor partner relationships
