**The opportunity**
We have an exciting opportunity for you Air Canada is looking for Customer Service Agents to join our operations team at the Montreal International Airport. We are looking for result oriented, reliable and highly adaptable individuals that enjoy tackling various tasks in a team setting environment. Whether handling baggage, performing cargo duties, operating complex loading equipment, the Customer Service Agent plays a key role in ensuring that the aircraft are ready for a secure and on-time departure.

**What your day-to-day looks like**
This is a permanent full-time position that can be scheduled up to a maximum of 40 hours per week.
**Responsibilities**
- Investigate delayed baggage using various systems available.
- Make arrangements for the expediting and the delivery of the bags.
- Assist customers with complaints regarding lost, mishandled, delayed, or damaged baggage.
- Perform lost and found functions.
- Perform Chargeback functions.
- Perform tracing functions:
- Trace and process delayed baggage files
- Trace and process mishandled/unclaimed bags before the station send them to Central Baggage Tracing (LZ)
- Trace and process delayed files, mostly for first 5 days after creation.
- Prepare records and documents.
- Must be able to walk long distance (search for bags in the bag rooms and the arrival halls).

**Qualifications**
- Available for shift work and irregular work hours
- early mornings, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Available to travel and attend a 2-4 week initial full time mandatory training program off site.
- Able to lift heavy objects unaided and repetitively weighing up to 70 pounds (32 kilograms).
- Willingness to work under various climatic conditions.
- Capacity to work within strict timelines in order to maintain on-time departures while ensuring safety at all times
