We currently have an opening for a **Product Manager** to join our team. In this role, you will support a designated portfolio of initiatives across our **Washer/Washer Disinfector Portfolio**. You will work closely with our stakeholders to understand their objectives, contribute to product roadmaps, define vision and build new features alongside our research and design teams. You’ll have the opportunity to own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from generating requirements, to planning and launch and then managing the portfolio through the product lifecycle.

Reporting to the Business Unit Director, you will work both internally with several cross functional teams and externally with various levels of industry experts and stakeholders, including corporate partners, dealers and end-users. You will be an expert in the industry with deep understanding of market trends and product knowledge. You will be involved in developing strategy and implementing it to create a product portfolio that meets the needs of the customer. You will be responsible for delivering and maintaining a portfolio of products that are commercially successful, competitive and profitable while continuously improving the position of the company in the market.

As a Product Manager, you must be the undisputed expert on your product. You are responsible for identifying opportunities and ensuring that what gets built and delivered to customers is both valuable and viable.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Accurately define problems and identify relevant factors while objectively considering alternatives and anticipating the customer impact of possible solutions
- Business case creation and development, including creating market assessments, market sizing, competitive reviews, and features analysis
- Creating and managing business and marketing plans for growing the Washer/Washer-Disinfector product portfolio
- Analyzes market trends, macro-economic data, competitive environment and regulatory landscape, and develops plan to address the changing environment
- Conducts customer research to uncover new opportunities and new product/service ideas
- Works with and influences cross-functional groups and drives activities across the organization.
- Understands our target markets and market segments by working closely with Sales to align activities to strategic Sales focus and to provide forward planning on the expected product delivery
- Regularly interfacing with the worldwide sales and service teams to support existing products and preparing for new product launches
- Leading new product development initiatives by interacting with end-users, sales, R&D and other stakeholders to present the business cases to senior management and to provide design input for the R&D team
- Monitoring and managing portfolio performance, profitability, quality, marketing campaign effectiveness and developing corrective actions if necessary to ensure continued product success and realizing product category growth
- Some international travel required to support international sales efforts and visit/participate at trade shows
**Educational and Experience Requirements**:

- University degree in science or engineering, marketing, or business
- Dental industry experience an asset
- 5+ years experience in Product Management of Equipment or Medical Devices
- MBA an asset
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point
- Experienced collaborator able to lead cross-functional stakeholder groups to generate and gather insights and input that will feed into product development
- Experience leading and motivating a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Experience in the medical or dental industry and working with medical standards an asset
