**The Role**

As a Cleaner, you will:

- Clean and Sanitize: ensure all classrooms, play areas, restrooms, and common areas are regularly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly, paying special attention to areas with heavy food traffic. Use appropriate cleaning agents supplied by the school.
- Surface Cleaning: Wipe down surfaces, including tables, chairs, countertops, and toys, to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Trash Disposal: Empty and dispose of trash receptacles on a regular basis. Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling.
- Restroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect restroom fixtures, replenish supplies, and ensure a high standard of hygiene.
- Window Cleaning: Keep windows and glass surfaces clean to provide a clear and bright atmosphere.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with teaching staff and other team members to address specific cleaning needs or concerns.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the well being of staff and children.

**The Qualifications**

As a Cleaner, you have:

- A clear Criminal Record Check
- Canadian citizenship and/or legally permitted to work in Canada
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience in commercial or educational cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently. You are also honest and trustworthy.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. You are a reliable and responsible individual.
- The ability to be time conscious and are efficient at competing tasks.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending.
- A growth mindset, recognizing opportunities for learning and growth daily
- Ability to thrive in a creation, growth-stage environment
- A vehicle to drive between schools when required.

**Commitment**
- 30 to 35 hours per week. Flexible hours may be required based on the needs of the centre.
- Ideal cleaning hours will be during Monday to Friday from 12:00pm to 7:00pm
- Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
