Construction Office Manager/project Coordinator

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager/Project Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with various administrative tasks and coordinating activities to ensure the smooth operation of projects. This is a vital role that requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
**Duties**:
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and invoices
- Utilize QuickBooks to track project expenses and generate financial reports
- Assist with payroll processing for construction staff
- Maintain an organized filing system for project documents
- Provide general clerical support, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing day-to-day duties
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure project deadlines are met
- Assist with team management by coordinating schedules and facilitating communication
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a construction coordination or administrative role is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with vendor management and procurement processes is a plus
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a team environment
