**BI Needed - North Vancouver**
Posting on behalf of my client:
We are looking for a behaviour interventionist (BI) to implement home based ABA programs focusing on social skills, academics and communication skills. You would be working 1:1 with the student either in the home or during playdates.
No experience necessary - training and supervision will be provided by Sarah Dungait (BCBA).
This is a great opportunity for those studying Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and other related disciplines.
Applicants must:
Be fun and engaging
Motivated to learn.
Be at least 19yrs old.
Have a clear criminal record check.
Be reliable.
Be willing to commit to 12-months minimum.
Here is a little info about the team:
**Upper Lonsdale Area**:
- You would be working with a fun 8yr old Autistic boy primarily supporting him with academic, regulation and social skills.
- Sessions are 1.5hrs.
- Looking to cover 2x after-school sessions per week.
- Potential for increased hours during the summer months, with flexibility to match your availability.
**Please note intervention is delivered in person. There are no options for remote sessions for this client.**
Compensation will be based on experience.
