Store Manager - North Vancouver

The Boardroom Snowboard shop is an internationally recognized award-winning store with customers coming from around the world. The Boardroom has the best selection of Snowboards, wakeboards, skateboards, lifestyle clothing, footwear and related accessories in B.C. We are an industry leader and are looking for someone to help us continue this trend.

The Manager's primary responsibility is to support the day-to-day requirements of the customers, store and staff. The person in this position plays a key role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of the store’s day-to-day operational activities.

Store responsibilities:

- Hiring and training of staff
- Scheduling Staff
- Opening/Closing the store
- Markdowns, Inventory, Loss Prevention and Special Orders.
- Knowledge of products sold by The Boardroom
- Customer service and helping co-workers
- Till duties including cash outs
- Awareness of and adherence to all shop policies and procedures
- Participate in staff meetings
- Work at shows and sales events
- Proficient in outlook, excel, and POS systems
- Flexible availability - including nights, weekends and holidays

Wage Rate: $24-$28 per hour

Wage according to qualifications & experience.

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
