AA Property Management is expanding and we are looking for talented professionals to join the accounting department; you will have the opportunity to support a portfolio consisting of residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings throughout Lower Mainland. You will play a key role in owner communication, data entry, reporting, account reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable and general administration.

**What You'll Do**
- Build relationships with owners, providing solutions and acting as their first point of contact;
- Set up monthly bank withdraws;
- Assist with the collections of strata fees, reconciliation of accounts and collection and reporting of Accounts Receivable;
- Provide administrative support to assigned portfolio, with the preparation of monthly financials;
- Liaise and assist in compiling a centralized repository for the growing, dynamic commercial portfolio;
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

What you Bring:

- Some accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably in property management industry;
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (i.e. rent collection, accounts receivable, etc.);
- Highly proficient organizational and time management skills;
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve using effective written and verbal communication;
- Ability to provide human-centered solutions and adapt to changing needs;
- Experience with Yardi will be considered an asset.

**Who You Are**
- Intermediate to advanced skill level in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills; with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, Chinese language is a bonus
- Minimum 50 wpm keyboarding skills
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently within a team environment
- A diploma or degree in a related field or equivalent experience

**Salary**: $3,000.00-$4,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
