We are looking for a shipping Supervisor for our new warehouse at Gerrard Road, Whitby.

**Location**: Gerrard Road, Whitby

**Timings**: Monday to Friday - 8 hour shift - Day.

**What you will be doing**:
Maintain and Analyze shipment logs
- Direct Shipper Workflow

Optimize employee workflow and ensure shift coverage is adequate

Train, guide and evaluate new warehouse workers.

Maintain inventory levels in coordination with Inventory Controller providing support where needed

Maintain daily shift communication, records of site walk

Maintain shift attendance and call for additional staff as required

Constantly work to improve processes

Make suggestions for productivity improvements

Maintain and Provide Reporting for the most important warehouse KPIs

Maintain a Housekeeping Schedule within the Warehouse and ensure duties are completed

Ensure that facility and equipment is properly maintained

Order new supplies in a timely manner

Communicate and collaborate with other team members

Uphold CTPAT regulations and ensure the facility and team are compliant with all company policies and procedures

Additional duties as required by business growth and change

Confidentiality with all financials, staff (disciplinary and personal info) including any company information not open to the public or pending release to other staff/divisions within Atlantic

**What you will bring to the table**:

- Leadership and communication skills are a must
- Full understanding of _industry_ safety standards
- Flexibility to cover shifts at other locations as required
- Ability to work weekends, nights or holidays as required
- Microsoft suite proficiency
- Strong problem-solving aptitude

**Preferred**:

- Experience in a unionized environment
- Previous experience with paper roll shipping
