Accounting Assistant(Mandarin Speaking)

A: Responsibilities
①Full cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks software
②Day-to-day matching of transactions from multiple sources
③Management of A/R, A/P, matching of receives and payments to appropriate invoices and bills
④Reconciliation of different types of bank statements
⑤Investigate and problem-solve for supplier invoices that do not reconcile to payments
⑥Ensure appropriate taxes are applied to invoices and bills
⑦Month-end close processes, including recurring journal entries ⑧necessary for financial reporting
⑨Perform other accounting tasks as needed
⑩Communication with the suppliers and other stakeholders as required. General office and organizational support team

B: Required Qualifications:
①Undergraduate degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Business/Bookkeeping or related
②Minimum 1 year of experience in a related role
③Experience with QuickBooks Online, familiarity with full cycle bookkeeping
④Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (needed for research and review)
⑤Familiarity with CRA requirements and filings (HST, PST, QST, and other provincial tax filings)
⑥Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Mandarin.
C: Benefits
①Two weeks paid vacation in the first three years of employment, three weeks paid vacation for the fourth year, and four weeks paid vacation for the six-year.
②Dental and other Group Benefits plan to start in the second year.
③Salary: negotiable
