**Scope/ Overview of Position**:

As part of our Billing department, the Billing Specialist is responsible for preparing and generating invoices as per customer contracts. He/she should establish strong customer relations and strong communication with account managers and the billing department team.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Prepare weekly invoices for customers
- Working with managers on a daily basis to finalize invoicing
- Printing and verifying reports
- Generate approved invoices
- Prepare paperwork for credit notes. Issue the approved credit notes and forward to the customer
- Print invoices and back up for scanning
- Scan documents when required
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required

**Qualifications, Education and Experience Required**:

- 1-2 years of previous Billing experience with data entry and any other related functions
- ** Advanced Organizational skills with strong attention to details**:

- Strong MS Office
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel including use of formulas
- Aptitude to learn
- Experience with MS Dynamics Business Central is an asset
- Ability to work independently and also with others on the billing team.
- Solve issues and be a strong system-oriented person
- Great communication skills with the ability to deliver critical messages to everyone involved
- Ability to meet deadlines
