**Job Title**: Scheduler/Dispatcher - Medical Staffing

**Responsibilities**:
1. Manage and oversee the daily scheduling of medical personnel, including but not limited to nurses, PSWs and allied health professionals, across multiple healthcare facilities.

2. Coordinate with hospitals and healthcare facilities to understand and fulfill their staffing requirements effectively.

3. Respond promptly to staffing changes, adapting and revising the schedule as necessary.

4. Work closely with the recruitment team and the Director of Nursing Services to fill open positions and plan for future staffing needs.

5. Utilize our scheduling software to ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping.

6. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding their schedules, shift changes, location assignments, and other relevant information.

7. Handle emergency staffing situations promptly and professionally, ensuring mínimal disruption to healthcare services.

8. Monitor and report on scheduling trends, contributing to the development of staffing strategies and plans.

**Qualifications**:
1. Experience in a scheduling/dispatching role within a hospital or healthcare setting.

2. Strong understanding of hospital operations and healthcare staffing needs.

3. Proficiency in using scheduling software and other relevant technology.

4. Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

6. Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to changes in staffing needs.

7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.

**Salary**: $50,000 a year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
