The Royal Glenora Club is Edmonton’s private premiere athletic and social club. Winner of the 2018 TPA Facility Excellence award the Royal Glenora Club is looking to add to their fantastic team of coaches.

The Royal Glenora Club is looking to add to our professional team of coaches.

This individual must posses strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with recreational and competitive adults and juniors. They also must have experience working with Cardio Tennis programs and familiarity with Red, Orange, Green U10 development. Previous playing experience is also an asset.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work with Tennis Manager to create and develop a comprehensive and inclusive tennis pathway, appropriate for a diverse demographic, varying skill level and interest.
- Teach private lessons and group programs in Tennis involving all ages and levels of ability, employing latest teaching methods to consistently provide quality instruction. Incorporate members' short-term and long-term athletic goals, both recreationally and competitively, with a strong focus on member retention.
- Continue to create interest and demand for Club lessons, programs and events by fostering a welcoming environment with exceptional customer service.
- Effectively promote and enhance the visibility of Royal Glenora Club to the public when outside the Club at tennis related events.
- Engage members in lesson content, program and event development and overall Tennis experience by collecting feedback and sharing with appropriate staff and Tennis Manager.
- Provide members with consistent feedback regarding their development, providing a clear pathway to their continued enjoyment and improvement.
- Follow Court utilization and booking rules established by Director of Recreation and Tennis Manager.
- Take a leadership role with our Jr Competitive & Performance pathway as well as competitive adult programming contributing to the development, success and retention of all players involved.
- Ensure that program, lesson, and event billings are accurately documented and submitted to the Head Professional prior to deadlines.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 5 years’ coaching experience
- Minimum Tennis Canada Club Pro 2 Certification
- Possesses a good understanding of Tennis Canada’s Whole Player Development Pathway
- Background in player development collaborating with players at provincial/national level
- Playing level 5.0 and above deemed as an asset
- Member in good standing with your respective Sport Association.
- Basic First Aid Training, CPR and AED Training.
- University Degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Sport Administration is an asset
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and administrative skills.
