We are currently seeking a skilled and organized **Maintenance Planner and Scheduler** to join our team. This role plays a vital part in the safe and efficient upkeep of our facility, ensuring maintenance activities are well-coordinated and timely.

**Position Overview**:
The **Maintenance Planner and Scheduler** is responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring maintenance schedules for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. This role works closely with maintenance technicians, engineers, operations teams, and inventory staff to ensure optimal equipment performance and mínimal downtime.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Planning & Scheduling**:

- Create and manage daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance schedules.
- Develop preventive maintenance plans in collaboration with engineers and supervisors.
- Schedule follow-up tasks and organize maintenance activities around production needs.

**Work Order Management & CMMS**:

- Oversee the Work Order Management process and maintain accurate records in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Assign work orders and associated documentation in the software.
- Support and train users on CMMS as needed.

**Shutdown Coordination**:

- Lead and organize planned and annual shutdowns.
- Facilitate pre
- and post-shutdown meetings with stakeholders.
- Monitor critical paths to ensure shutdown timelines are met.

**Collaboration & Communication**:

- Work closely with operations, maintenance, and inventory staff to streamline maintenance execution.
- Oversee the tasks of the Inventory Assistant to ensure accurate parts and data management.
- Lead and document regular maintenance planning meetings.

**Reporting & Documentation**:

- Prepare and present weekly and monthly KPI reports on maintenance and shutdown performance.
- Maintain various project sheets and documentation using Microsoft Office tools.

**Audits & Parts Management**:

- Conduct parts audits for shutdowns and ensure timely ordering and availability.
- Monitor parts kits and coordinate with procurement when necessary.

**Environmental & Safety Compliance**:

- Follow all environmental and safety regulations and procedures.
- Promote a safety-first culture in all maintenance planning activities.
- Report potential incidents or hazards promptly and participate in safety meetings and investigations.

**Workplace Conditions & Safety**:

- Exposure to moving parts, confined spaces, elevated work areas, noise, dust, vibration, and hazardous materials.
- Requires proper and consistent use of PPE.
- Physical demands may include prolonged standing and navigating challenging work environments.

**Qualifications**:

- College or Technical Diploma in Project Management or related discipline.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance planning/scheduling is a strong asset.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS or equivalent maintenance software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
