**Title**: Straight Truck Driver

**Location**: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

**Reporting to**: Route Supervisor

**Start Date**: To be determined

The Collection Service Representative must follow a designated route to ensure complete and timely collections. The route is continued until all stops are completed and the CSR follows instructions provided by Dispatch or the Route Supervisor regarding customers that require service. When the truck is loaded, the CSR proceeds to the dump site to offload the material.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safe operation of commercial straight trucks.
- Efficient and timely pick-up of all waste, organic and recyclable material.
- Occasional pick up of white goods, electronics, mattresses box springs and other bulky furniture items.
- Delivery of clean bins, exchanging full organic bins to dump at Compost Facility.
- Must be highly productive and have superior customer services, as you will be the front-line contact with the customers.
- This is a physically demanding role so a physically fit lifestyle will be a benefit.
- Flexibility and willingness to help with all business streams as required.
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 3 license with air brakes, and previous driving experience is an asset.
- Must be a team player and proven safe working habits.
- Flexibility with your work schedule is a must as start and end times may vary. Some Saturday and Sunday work may be required.
- Excellent attendance record is a must.
