**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Preform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
- Load and unload freight as required.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records.
- Work in adverse weather conditions.
- Pack, label and tag al of the inventory in the warehouse as required.
- Work in accord with all safety regulations of the environment.
- Coordinate work with fellow workers and other team members.
- Daily process and assembly of customer’s orders.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- Class 3 license required, class 1 Driver’s License preferred
- Demonstrated truck driving experience with straight trucks and tractor-trailers.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain good attendance
- Ability to travel for extended periods of time
- Ability to provide internal and external customer service
- Ability to work independently and with other employees, including management, office, warehouse, and sales personnel.
- Knowledge of the roadways and surrounding areas in Halifax Regional Municipality.
- Bulk distribution considered an asset.

**Working Conditions**

Must be comfortable driving moderate to long distances without issue. Working with and around industrial requirement will be common practice with this position.

**Physical Requirements**

Must be physically able to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time. Prolonged periods of attentiveness will be necessary when driving. Moderate lifting will be common.
