Position: Dental Treatment Coordinator
Location: 18 King Street East Toronto, Ontario M5H 1A1 Canada
- Shifts: Flexible between 9AM - 6PM (Mon-Fri)
As a Treatment Coordinator for our esteemed dental offices, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless patient experiences and facilitating effective communication between our dental team and our valued patients. You will be the cornerstone of our patient care process, guiding them through treatment plans, scheduling appointments, and addressing any concerns they may have. Key Requirements:
Ability and flexible to work any shift between 9AM - 6PM (Mon-Fri)
Exceptional verbal/written communication and customer service skills
Prior experience in a Sales/and or Customer service position is a plus
Display empathy and compassion towards patients
Organized and strong attention to detail
Highly proficient in computer skills and willingness to learn new software
Works well independently and in a team-based setting
Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Conduct thorough consultations with patients to discuss treatment options, address concerns, and answer questions
- Collaborate with dentists to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and preferences
- Provide transparent explanations of treatment costs, insurance coverage, and available payment options. Assist patients in understanding and navigating their financial obligations
- Efficiently schedule appointments for treatments, consultations, and follow-up visits while maximizing productivity and minimizing wait times
- Maintain regular communication with patients to ensure they are informed about their treatment progress and upcoming appointments
- Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and financial transactions in our practice management software
- Work closely with our dental team to coordinate patient care, resolve issues, and optimize the patient experience
- Complete the Treatment Acceptance Monitor for each dentist and submit the reports monthly to the management team for analysis, ensuring the reasons for declined treatment are duly noted
**This is a new position. Additional tasks will be assigned as position continues to expand.
