Technology Program Student Placement, Facilities Services
Key Job Elements:
Work closely with Facility Engineering and Planning Teams
Providing support in updating Facilities Management Systems and Programs
Co-ordinate offsite storage facilities & inventories
Co-ordinate office furniture procurements / repairs in all buildings
Co-ordinate work required for office ergonomic assessments
Track office floor plans / populations / available seating for all buildings
Monitor and submit work order requests through facility work order system
Work with Engineering / Maintenance teams on facility projects, equipment relocations, etc.
Assist with maintaining and developing accurate shop floor layouts using AutoCad
Assist with creating Energy Control Procedures and maintenance job plans for new & existing assets
Act as point of contact for onsite contractors
Monitor and adhere to all Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety requirements / standards
Required Qualifications:
College Technologist or Technician Program
Strong computer skills in MS Office
Knowledge in Autodesk AutoCAD 2018 is beneficial
Excellent communication (written, oral and listening) and analytical skills
Strong organization skills, including being a self-starter
Willingness to actively learn, multi-task and adapt to changing requirements
Previous experience in a manufacturing or facility management environment is beneficial
