**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Director of Standards and Policies, the Airports Quality Control Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing the Airports Quality Control Program. This role involves conducting detailed quality control audits, ensuring compliance with operational standards, and providing actionable insights to enhance processes across Flair’s network. The Specialist collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners to uphold high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality in airport operations. This position is primarily based in an office environment but requires frequent travel. The role involves prolonged periods of sitting, using office equipment and computers, and intense concentration. Physical demands may include transitioning between sitting and standing, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, grasping, and lifting objects between 5 to 20 lbs. Additionally, the incumbent may be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions while observing airport processes and completing quality control checklists.

**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **Airports Quality Control Specialist**include:

- Support the development and implementation of the Airports quality control program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
- Execute a 3rd party quality control checklist schedule across Flair’s network, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Conduct and document detailed quality control audits for both above and below the wing operations
- Review department standard operating procedures (SOPs), manuals, and policies to ensure compliance and consistency
- Perform on-site base visits to complete audits, verify SOP compliance, and provide constructive feedback to stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver detailed feedback reports to stations and department leaders, highlighting areas of strength and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with the Airports department to develop action plans addressing non-conformities and operational gaps
- Assist the Quality Assurance department in enhancing oversight processes and ensuring alignment with organizational standards
- Monitor 3rd party quality control checklist completion rates and ensure compliance with Flair’s requirements
- Generate completion reports and station performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Work with the Airports training team to update policies and training materials based on audit findings
- Collaborate with 3rd party service providers to improve audit processes and systems
- Participate in company-wide quality assurance initiatives as required
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Airports department and organizational objectives

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- ** Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Business Administration, Quality Assurance, or a related field
- ** Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in airport operations, with a focus on quality control, auditing, or process improvement
- At least 1-2 years of experience in supporting or executing quality control programs in an aviation or operational environment
- Experience conducting audits, analyzing data, and providing actionable recommendations
- Experience in a mentorship or training role is considered an asset
