General Duties & Responsibilities: *
- Investigate and participate in the prevention of problems/issues
- Repairing and maintaining production equipment.
- Troubleshooting equipment and process failures
- Fit and assemble components, maintain, repair and calibrate precision
- Installation and adjustment of new equipment or new parts.
- Understanding and following safe working practices, including lockout and isolation procedures.
- Use of personal protective equipment, as required.
- Responsible for maintaining a tidy, clean, and safe work environment on the floor and in the maintenance / tool room.
- Contributing toward improving the maintenance system and associated procedures.

Qualifications: *
- Working towards a Tool and Die Ticket
- Experience or knowledge with automated gas-metal arc welding (GMAW).
- Experience or knowledge with robotics
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and charts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong team player, able to interact with all levels within the organization.
- Proficient in both Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Able to read and understand equipment drawings and manuals.

Additional Qualifications: *
- Past experience with preventative maintenance software.
- Past experience in a high-volume stamping and assembly environment.
