**Description**:
We are seeking new talent to join our established and growing Novatech team. We are looking for an individual who appreciates working on a broad range of surveying assignments for civil engineering linear infrastructure and site works projects using state of the art equipment. If you are energetic and enjoy working outdoors, this may be an ideal fit.

**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate, communicate and liaise with internal project teams and contractors.
- Complete pre-engineering topographic surveys.
- Process data in preparation for AutoCAD/Civil 3D drawing compilation.
- Complete accurate construction layout, as well as as-built and quantity surveys.
- Record accurate quantities, in coordination with the project inspector, to ensure compliance with tender documented items and specifications.
- File project information electronically in appropriate folders on the shared drive.
- Assist with inspection of heavy civil construction projects as needed.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- High level of commitment and professionalism.
- Knowledge and understanding of local provincial and municipal construction standards and specifications.
- Experience with Robotic and Trimble total station and GPS surveying equipment; drone experience an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience working on heavy construction job sites (linear infrastructure and site works) an asset.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a survey crew, possibly in adverse conditions, for long hours during construction season, including overtime as required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A valid Province of Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- Civil Engineering Technology or Survey Technician Diploma, or equivalent.
