National Port Security Services (NPSS) is a dynamic maritime security company operating across Central and Eastern Canada. We provide high-quality security services for commercial vessels and other industries, offering diverse opportunities for our employees.

We are currently hiring **Security Guards** to join our team in **Charlottetown and Summerside, PEI**. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional and exciting environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Control access to secure areas and verify identification.
- Issue visitor passes and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
- Perform regular interior and exterior patrols.
- Maintain all site security procedures.
- Complete detailed daily reports.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with traffic and vehicle control.
- Conduct ID checks and surveillance activities.
- Support marine security operations as required.

**Requirements**:

- Valid **Prince Edward Island Driver's License**.
- Valid **First Aid and CPR certification**.
- Clear **criminal record**.
- Must be **18 years or older** and **legally entitled to work in Canada**.
- Reliable transportation and a **clean driving record** are preferred.
- Flexibility to work **days, evenings, nights, and weekends**.
- **PWSR certification** (mandatory upon selection).

**Additional Information**
- Positions are **on-call and seasonal**, based on maritime activity levels.
- **No minimum guaranteed hours**; shifts are assigned as work becomes available.
- Work schedules are often provided in advance, but short-notice shifts may occur.
- Guards able to commute reliably to **Summerside** will be given preference.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
