We are currently hiring Security Guards to join our team in Charlottetown and Summerside, PEI. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional and exciting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Control access to secure areas and verify identification.
  • Issue visitor passes and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
  • Perform regular interior and exterior patrols.
  • Maintain all site security procedures.
  • Complete detailed daily reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with traffic and vehicle control.
  • Conduct ID checks and surveillance activities.
  • Support marine security operations as required.

Requirements

  • Valid Prince Edward Island Driver's License.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Clear criminal record.
  • Must be 18 years or older and legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are preferred.
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • PWSR certification (mandatory upon selection).

Additional Information

  • Positions are on-call and seasonal, based on maritime activity levels.
  • No minimum guaranteed hours; shifts are assigned as work becomes available.
  • Work schedules are often provided in advance, but short-notice shifts may occur.
  • Guards able to commute reliably to Summerside will be given preference.
